Day 1, Delhi - Gaya (990 kms)( Mahaparinirvana train Tour)
17:30 hrs - Assemble at the Delhi Safdurjung Railway Station. Traditional Welcome and check – in to your respective coaches.

Day 2, Gaya - Bodhgaya (16 kms) (Mahaparinirvana train Tour)
06:30 hrs – Early morning tea, Wash & Change & breakfast on board.
08:30 hrs - Arrive at Gaya. Disembark the train and assemble for boarding the coaches for road journey to Bodhgaya for sightseeing of Bodhgaya including Mahabodhi Temple & Niranjana River during Buddha Tour India.
12:30 hrs – Check in at hotel, lunch and relax till tea time.
16:00 hrs – Proceed for sightseeing of Thai Temple, Japanese Temple and Buddha Statue.
19:30 hrs – Return to Hotel, dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Bodhgaya. |

Day 3, Bodhgaya – Nalanda – Rajgir – Gaya – Varanasi (Mahaparinirvana train Tour)
05:30 hrs – Early morning tea & breakfast followed by checkout from the Hotel for departure to Nalanda
07:00 hrs – Departure by coach for Rajgir (85 Kms)
09:30 hrs – Arrival at Rajgir. Sightseeing at Rajgir of Bimbimsara Jail, Gridhakut hill, Venuvan.
12:30 hrs – Proceed to a Restaurant in Rajgir for lunch.
13:30 hrs - Proceed to Nalanda for sightseeing covering ruins of world famous Nalanda University & Nalanda Museum.
17:00 hrs – Depart back to Gaya Railway Station.
19:00 hrs - Arrival at Gaya Railway Station and board the train.

Day 4, Arrive Varanasi (Mahaparinirvana Train tour )
05:00 hrs - Early morning tea on-board and arrival at Varanasi. Disembark the train and board buses.
06:00 hrs – 08:30 hrs – Arrival at Hotel, check in and breakfast.
08:30 hrs – Departure for Sarnath (10 kms) for sightseeing of Dhamekh Stupa, Sarnath Museum, The Ashokan Pillar, Mulgandha Kuti Vihar.
12:30 hrs - Lunch and check out from the hotel.
13:30 hrs – Free time.
17:00 hrs - Visit to the river Ganges Ghat, Boat ride (with required safety procedure adhered), Evening Aarti. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel

Day 5, Varanasi – Delhi
During Buddha Tour India Breakfast at hotel. Morning Free at leisure till departure transfer to Airport connect domestic flight for Delhi or if time permitted city tour of Varanasi visiting Bharat Mata temple, Tulsi Manas, Banaras Hindu University etc. On arrival Delhi transfer to hotel. Later visit to New Delhi which includes visit to Qutub MInar- It was the first monument of muslim rule in India. It is a marvel in itself and depicts the history of Indian culture. It is made in Indo-Islamic style. Humayun’s Tomb – This magnificent garden tomb is the first substantial example of Mughal architecture in India. It was built in 1565 A.D.nine years after the death of Humayun, by his senior widow Bega Begam. Inside the walled enclosure the most notable feature are the garden squares (chaharbagh) with pathways water channels, centrally located well proportional mausoleum topped by double dome.
India Gate – Built as a memorial to commemorate the 70,000 India soldiers killed in World War I, India Gate was designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens and completed in 1931. The gate is 160 feet high with an arch of 138 feet. and drive past President and Parliament House.

Day 6, Delhi – Bhopal ( By Flight)- Sanchi - Bhopal
Transfer to Domestic airport to connect flight for Bhopal ( By S2 2791 : Dep 0715 Hrs /Arr 1000 Hrs.)On arrival in Bhopal proceed for an excursion to Sanchi and Bhimbhetka Caves ( Apprx 45 Kms one way). By late evening, you will come back to the hotel and retire for the night. Overnight stay at hotel. |

Day 7, Bhopal - Aurangabad
After breakfast transfer to railway station to connect train to Aurangabad (By Kamayani Express 1072 : 0740 Hrs / 1745 Hrs). Arriv Manmad Railway station & transfer to hotel.

Day 8, Aurangabad
During Buddha Tour India Morning excursion to Ajanta Caves. AJANTA is world's greatest historical monument recognized by UNESCO. There are 30 caves in Ajanta of which 9, 10, 19, 26 and 29 are chaitya-grihas and the rest are monasteries. These caves were discovered in AD 1819 and were built up in the earlier 2nd century BC-AD. Most of the paintings in Ajanta are right from 2nd century BC-AD and some of them about the fifth century AD and continued for the next two centuries. All paintings shows heavy religious influence and centre around Buddha, Bodhisattvas, incidents from the life of Buddha and the Jatakas. The paintings are executed on a ground of mud-plaster in the tempera technique.
(Ajanta caves remain closed on every Monday).
Afternoon sight seeing of Ellora Caves: About 18 miles away from the city of Aurangabad -a group of rock temples - possess a magnificent series of Buddhist, Brahmanical and Jain temples of the 9th Century A.D.
Kailash Temple, hewn out of a single rock, carved with life size figures of gods and goddesses, is a wonder. (Ellora caves remain closed on every Tuesday). |

Day 9, Aurangabad - Mumbai
After breakfast transfer to airport to connect flight Mumbai (Available Domestic flight - Jet Airways/ Indian Airlines) . On arrival transfer to hotel.
Afternoon city tour with visiting museum, Gate way of India, Hanging Garden, Tower of Silence, Dhobhi Ghats, Mani Bhawan etc. Overnight stay at hotel. |
